China Study Tour 2007
25 August - 3 September
Activitieshmm.. love the grassland.. the horses especially.. the time when i was on the horse and it was galloping so quickly.. oh my tian.. its e best!! its only once when on our way back during the 2nd hour that i feel my hurt beating super hard n fast coz the horse was super duper fast.. but that feeling was great.. other than that time.. the other time i felt the horse fast.. and yar.. the feeling is way beyond description.. at that point of time i feel that i can let down all my worries and troubles, if any.. haha.. and enjoy life at that moment.. it felt really great with the wind blowing ur hair and u feel nothing but freedom and happiness.. at that point of time i had nothing but a great big smile on my face.. nothing beats me feeling that sense of satisfaction in life.. haha..
visits to historical places and temples were alright.. i kinda like the Forbidden City.. was imagining me staying there.. cool!! haha.. so big de place.. but i guess beyond the fluorish outlook of the grand place, there is unbearable pain suffered and great pressure faced by the people who stayed in there in the past ba.. but oh well.. haha..
Great Wall of China was nice.. but bad me couldnt take it.. went up to the first 'shelter' kinda thing jiu cannot make it le.. haiz.. still feel quite bad for making hui ping n jieting not able to climb with me although both dun mind.. i myself still mind coz i still wanna go up de.. and being someone more 'sporty', i feel so weak.. haiz.. went to the underground Great Wall also.. not bad.. very very cold.. and its cold from the natural wind!! not aircon!! unbelieveable.. heh..
Mealswooh.. beijing people like salty food i guess.. but the food overall is ok.. i mean im more of a carnivore than a herbi.. and since they eat meat.. i guess im ok.. and the best part of all meals is that whenever we see this unknown dish on the table.. someone will try and say its not bad.. so all of us will start to try a bit and say not bad.. but when we ask wad dish is it and the waiter/waiteress says its qie zi, none of us touch it for the rest of the meal!! haha!!! so funny ah..
breakfast wasnt good.. its only ok at mingdu hotel n tianjiao hotel.. other than that.. bad.. so cheena lah.. dunno how to eat.. haiz.. luckily brought food from singapore.. haha..
Shoppingshopping was ok.. i really cant bargain unless my mood is no good.. haha.. tats bad.. and i really dunno wad to buy for joan they all.. i mean.. things for ppl of our age is like mostly clothes?? and i dunno wad type they will like.. but anyway.. bought souvenirs (not gifts =X).. haha.. and i bought a lot of things for myself!! damn.. like.. 3 shirts, 2 shorts, a pair of shoes and specs case.. the rest is can share de.. like cream and tea.. oh and a bag which im sharing with darr (xiao di).. and so i bought a windbreaker for darr (and e bag which im sharing with him), a shirt n bag for my mei, a shirt for my kor which i so like it too and polo tees for my parents.. haha.. so yea.. i bought the huan zhu ge ge tat kinda headdress for my cousins.. bought 2.. and 1 mongolian headdress.. its too cute to resist.. haha.. i so love it.. haha.. so thought can give yen, evelyn n delany.. woots!! 3 cousins.. just nice.. saw another mongolian de.. e one jieting bought.. wanted to buy.. but dunno who to give le.. actually i thought of someone.. but not related ah.. and guess who is that... its joan's niece (or cousin?), mabelle.. haha!! but.. erm.. haha..
i did manicure in China!! they cheat my money ah.. i thought of just drawing on my nails and that would be 30yuan.. but ended up they did manicure for me plus drawing.. so its 50yuan in total.. hmph!!
anyway i was broke in China!!! unbelieveable.. haiz.. never have i felt so poor in a foreign country before..
Peopleglad to make more friends thru e trip.. and surprisingly the friends we got closer to are not year 2s.. but year 1s.. mayb because we dun look like year 2s ba.. haha.. ms annie cheung rox too!! haha.. and joan so know me.. lol.. before i left she kinda like reminded me not to be bothered by insensitive people.. mayb coz she know i very ngiao.. haha.. though i was kinda bothered.. but i did try my best to enjoy myself.. which i did.. and although i had e experienced of a relationship blooming out from a 10 days overseas trip.. i still feel that things shouldnt start too fast lah hah.. so.. haha.. oh well.. its not me.. haha.. but everyone throughout this trip is great..
so overall conclusion.. everyone and everything is great!! haha.. only dun like breakfast ba.. haha.. but really.. i learn quite a lot in this trip and made new friends!! i made new friends!! like nothing new.. LOL!! lalala.. high-ing myself on my blog.. woots!! when it was only e 2nd day there, i thought i had already spent like 4 days there.. and when it was only e 6th day, i feel that it was more than enough, that we should be gg home.. but when im home now.. i miss the air there.. there really is a difference.. oh well.. (:
